You'll need a new CAS before you make any Student Visa application.

This letter will tell you or an employer when your term dates are, the number of hours per week you are permitted to work, and what your general Student Visa working conditions are.

If you are an undergraduate student on a student visa, you are permitted to undertake a full-time internship starting up to 3 weeks before the summer vacation, provided you have completed all academic requirements for the year. This letter will inform your employer that you have been released from your term-time work conditions early for this purpose.

It is possible to be released from your term-time working conditions (to begin working for more than 20 hours per week) once the original deadline for your final piece of work has passed, you have submitted everything, and no more than 4 weeks before the course end date which was shown on your CAS. Your employer will ask for a letter confirming this if you intend to work full-time before your original course end date.

This letter is only required if you have a job offer from an employer who will be sponsoring you under a Skilled Worker Visa for a job which starts before the course end date shown on your CAS.

It is possible to be released from your term-time working conditions between the first submission of your thesis and your viva examination, or once you have completed, or it is confirmed you are not required to complete, corrections following your viva examination.
