All the
preprints
are available for downloading as gzip compressed dvi files, and
a few are also available as (uncompressed) pdf files.
Just in case you didn't know:
Files suffixed with .gz are
gzip
compressed.
They can be decompressed by typing "gunzip filename.dvi.gz" on
Linux or Unix, or using Stuffit on MacOS.
You should then end up with a DVI file called "filename.dvi".
(It would seem that some implementations of decompression change
the filename to things like "u2.dvi", "v2.dvi" or "w2.dvi" etc.)
Device Independent (DVI) files are the main output files of the
TeX
mathematical typesetting programme.
They can be read using any TeX implementation.
Portable Document Format (PDF) files can be read using
Adobe
Acrobat Reader which is freely downloadable.
The files are not compressed, and suffixed with .pdf.
The files represent preprint versions of the papers, and are not necessarily identical with the published articles. The copyright of most (but not all) of the published articles are transferred to the corresponding journal publishers. I retain copyright of the remainder, and those preprints not yet accepted for publication.
Unless stated otherwise, the files available here do not include any diagrams.
Any comments on any of these articles are welcome.
