There are no postdoctoral positions currently open. However I anticipate advertising two more positions in the broad area of Bayesian Inverse Problems in Differential Equations, in the academic year 2010-2011. Please contact me with informal enquiries. A previous job advertisment appears below. Future advertisments will be similar.
Applications are invited for two postdoctoral positions in the area of Bayesian Inverse Problems in Differential Equations, directed by Andrew Stuart of the Warwick Mathematics Institute, and supported by the European Research Council.
Both positions will be of duration 2 years. Both would normally commence on 1 October 2009, although there is some flexibility in the precise start date.
Candidates should have experience of, and strong research potential in, one or more of the following areas: Computational nonlinear partial differential equations, inverse problems, data assimilation, stochastic differential equations, Bayesian statistics and MCMC methods.
