Inverse Problems and Data Assimilation

A postdoctoral positions is available for 12 months, starting October 1st 2013, in the areas of inverse problems and data assimilation. You will join a research group in the area of Bayesian Inverse Problems in Differential Equations, led by Andrew Stuart of the Warwick Mathematics Institute. The work is supported by the ERC. You will receive support for computing resources and will have a light teaching load.

You will have experience and strong research potential in a number of the following research areas: Bayesian nonparametric statistics, filtering, data assimilation and inverse problems in PDEs.
