Log flips according to Shokurov

The first segment of 3-folds at the Nute Feb--Jul 2002 was a working
seminar Feb--Mar 2002 on Shokurov's massive paper Prelimiting flips
(currently 247 pp., to appear in Proc. Steklov Inst.).
A book in progress contains a proof of the existence of 4-fold log flips.

See Corti, 3-fold flips after Shokurov for the new proof of 3-fold log flips.
