Ann Wright went to the West Bank in 2006 as a volunteer with The Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme for Palestine and Israel (EAPPI), an initiative of the World Council of Churches. Its aim is to support Palestinian and Israeli organisations working to end the occupation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem in non violent ways, and to work for a just and lasting settlement of the conflict in accordance with international law.
