Introduction to NAPCE membershipThis page contains a short introduction to NAPCE
membership. You can see brief details of the benefits of NAPCE
membership on the next page selecting the 'Benifits' link on the left You have probably read the aims of NAPCE on the front
page of the site, but if not please click here.
NAPCE membership is for anyone whose work involves:
- Care and concern for young people and their needs
- Young people's personal and social development
- Pastoral Care as a specialist or non-specialist
NAPCE provides a number of services for its members,
including subscription to the quarterly journal Pastoral Care in Education -
with articles, essays and up-to-date information on Pastoral Care and PSE issues;
national conferences; an AGM in order to hear what the membership has to say; and an interactive website regularly updated with events, useful links (and a discussion forum). NAPCE organises our annual National Conference, with speakers of national
and international reputation. There is a reduced cost for these events for members. As one of the foundational aims of NAPCE was to establish
links between all those who have an interest in Pastoral Care and PSE, we are
currently exploring ways to enhance this activity. Costs for membership are: | | U.K and Europe | Elsewhere |
