The Warwick Centre for Public Economics

The aims of the Warwick Centre for Public Economics (WCPE), currently being established, are the promotion of public economic theory and also the encouragement of the use of theory in empirical analyses of public economic problems. Thus, the aims of the WCPE extend those of the Journal of Public Economic Theory and the Association for Public Economic Theory, APET, to include the empirical public economics and the encouragement of the use of theory in applied public economics. The WCPE is being established under the directorship of Professor Myrna Wooders.
