WGL is a simple graphics description language,
designed mainly for statistical graphics.
The aim is to write software with graphics in WGL,
which is then translated into screen graphics, postscript etc.,
reducing the pain of rewriting graphical output code
to the relatively minor irritation of writing a WGL translator
for each output device.
The following files are available:
-
WGL manual
(1994: postcript, A4 size, 2-up, zipped).
-
WGL implementation in APL*PLUS III
(1994: outputs tpic commands for inclusion in [La]TeX documents).
Also contains my version of APLTeX.
-
WGL implementation in J3
(1999: outputs ISI graphics &/or postscript).
Intended for unzipping in J subdirectory user.
Designed under Windows 3.1; you may wish to change some of the
directory paths (e.g.: default output directory is \temp).
Will be translated and rationalised for J4 Real Soon Now.
