Ho Ho Ho,

Right, this was a long time ago now, almost 2 weeks! But a big well doen to everyone that came to Nottingham competition at the weekend, we had a fantastic result. The C team came 13th, B team came 10th (2nd out of B teams) and the A team walked away with a gold on the day! In the end this meant that both the A and B team got 9 points for their leagues, putting A 1 point above Birmingham in the league. Hopefully we can defend this position at Birmigham Competition. To see the competion report, see here.

As you may have known we ran the Survive and Save Instructor course over the weekend, which saw 9 new instructors qualify. Three being from Warwick, so a special well done to Esther, Michael and Scott. Also a well done to all the external candidates that came to. Finally and Thank you to Edward and Adam who ran the course and got us all through it!

Ho Ho Ho,

Christmas Holidays are finally here and we have had a very successful first term. Firstly an update about what happened at London Competition: The B and C team both came in the top 10 with the C team placing above the B team and getting 10 points for the B league! Not only that the A team came 3rd to keep up the fight for 1st place in the league with Birmingham. For a more full update on London Competition have a read of the London Competition Report here.

Now for a overview of the first term: We have seen a good bit of success in both the BULSCA Leagues, with Warwick in 2nd in both Leagues behind Birmingham. Being only 1 behind in the A League and 5 behind in the B League it looks to be a very exciting second term for us in competitions. In term of qualifications we have seen all candidates that took their Life Support 1, Bronze Core and Bronze Medallion passed. Not only that our annual NPLQ course took place last week with all 12 candidates passing at the end of the week. Next term will see us running the Silver Awards and if you want to do them please email us here, it will cost £13.95 (for assessment) if you done the Bronze Awards and £21.95 if you didn't (for assessment and book).

Have a lovely Christmas Holidays

Hello,

You may have already heard of our success at Bristol and if you haven't then now is your time to find out! On Saturday we took 3 teams to the good ol' west country, Bristol to be precise, for Bristol's first ever BULSCA competition. It sure won't be a competition to forget with all manner of amazing results, such as the C team beating the A team in medley by a split second, the B team winning the wet SERC and as if it could not get any better the A team walked away feeling a bit heavier with gold medals and a shiney new plate! You can read all about it in the competiton report here.

In other news we will be heading to Splash Competition this Sunday, it's a bit of a fun competition with some other lifesaving clubs in the Warwickshire area and anyone is welcome to come along. Also We have our last BULSCA competition of the term at London on 10th December, which will hopefully be as sucessful as Bristol Competiton. If you want to come to either please let us know via email.

All The Best
