A General Strike photo album

Copies of 25 press photographs taken during the General Strike in May 1926. Most show scenes in London, including of strike-breaking work by volunteers on the transport system and in the docks, food distribution and the aftermath of riots in the capital.

Henry Sara's lantern slides

Series of 95 slides put together by left-wing activist Henry Sara using images from newspapers, magazines and other publications. The lantern slides were used for illustrated public talks in the early 1930s.
