[Air Enterprises was founded by Henry, Arthur Francis Carr and Thomas Hudson in April 1947; based at Croydon it undertook ad hoc passenger and freight charter and developed some scheduled services. The Percival `Prince' aircraft referred to in the corres., operated on behalf of SMC, was badly damaged in a forced landing, Feb 1953. Air Enterprises ceased operations at the end of the 1953 season.
