not all car parks (P6, P7, P8) are adjacent to your registration and accommodation areas.
It is therefore advisable to leave your luggage in the car whilst registering.
After registration you will be advised the most convenient car park for
your accommodation. For those traveling by taxi, ask for Rootes Social Building (14), central campus. For those traveling by bus, there are stops on
central campus adjacent to the Arts Centre (1), near Rootes Social
Building (14).
Arrivals:
Delegates arriving may check in at the reception desk in Rootes
Social Building (14) between 3pm and midnight. Those arriving earlier
than 3pm are welcome to leave luggage: enquire at reception.
Accommodation:
Room keys are available from Rootes Social Building
(14) from 3pm
on day of arrival. Check out on day of departure is 0930hrs
– a luggage store is available at Rootes Social Building (14).
Badges:
Please wear at all times. It will enable access to restaurants
and meeting areas. It will also enable you to identify fellow delegates.
Venues
for Meeting: Lecture Rooms are located in the Science Building
(16) & Social Studies Building (18). Please note, meeting
venues, accommodation halls and restaurants are not all under one roof.
It is therefore advisable to bring suitable clothing and umbrellas as appropriate.
Car
Parking: All participants are to use
car parks 6, 7 or 8.
