Terms of Reference

(a) To provide oversight and advice to the University on the long term strategic development of Warwick Arts Centre ensuring future sustainability of the organisation.

(b) To provide an annual report for the consideration of the Council, through the Vice-Chancellor, on the operation and performance of Warwick Arts Centre.

(c) To provide support, counsel and expertise to the Director of Warwick Arts Centre on matters of strategic direction relevant to the present work and future development of Warwick Arts Centre.

(d) To provide advice and advocacy to support Warwick Arts Centre in developing funding opportunities.

(e) To contribute to the strengthening of Warwick Arts Centre's links with local, regional, national and international organisations.

(f) To provide regular support, counsel and expertise (in addition to Board meetings) to the Director of Warwick Arts Centre and the senior team as required.

(g) To advise the University about the post of Director of Warwick Arts Centre and to participate in the appointment process when a vacancy occurs.
